Sponsor a scholarship child and send him/her to school!

If you sponsor a child from Hand to Hand we can give you an official receipt for your contributions. In addition to this you will receive updates and photos of your child twice a year. If you wish to do so, you may correspond with the child with the help of our translators.

Scholarship costs

11,500 baht per year   (grades KG1 – KG3)

4000 baht for uniform and books per year + 750 per month
(food and transport x 10 months)


12,500 baht per year   (grade 1 – 4)

5000 baht for uniform and books per year + 750 per month


13,000 baht per year   (grades 5 – 6)

5500 baht for uniform and books per year + 750 per month


14,000 baht per year   (grades 7 – 9)

6500 baht for uniform and books per year + 750 per month


15,000 baht per year   (grades 10 – 12)

7500 baht for uniform and books per year + 750 per month

The cost of KG has risen as the school will now provide the children with milk or a snack mid morning.

Other grades have risen in cost due to inflation.

  • He has completed 3 years of adult education with great difficulty using the money he saved from being a labourer.

  • She is a happy and sociable young lady.

  • His grandma and grandpa were looking after him but then kicked him out as they were unable to care for him.

  • The government pay for his boarding but Hand to Hand will support him financially for his other needs.
  • He will come to Hand to Hand during the school holidays.

  • Daniel and his son Paul live with grandma at the community land at Nong Plalai.
  • He left school and worked in a garage as a mechanic.
  • Daniel has always been interested in IT and has been able to fix computers.
  • About 6 months ago he had an accident and broke some bones in his foot so he is unable to do any strenuous work. Even driving causes pain.

  • Dear and his brother now live with their grandparents in the south of Thailand.
  • Hand to Hand staff members have met with his father. He is not able to care for his sons at this time.

  • Dear is happy living with his grandparents.

  • His parents separated when he was about one year old.
  • His father has remarried and sends no support to Don.

  • Don lived in a temple for several years and learnt many skills – like flower arranging, massage.

  • Grandma works as a maid in a hotel.
  • Grandma gives some money to Film to buy uniform etc.

  • Gam lives with her Father and Mother. Gam has an older brother but he does not reside with the family.

  • Gam has a tumor which was first noticed 2014. She still requires chemo therapy to treat the tumor, after two lots of surgery, which she receives in Bangkok once a month.

  • Her dad works in a factory in Bowwin.
  • Grace has a new baby sister. She helps her mother take care of the baby.

  • Luking has no family that is able to care for him.
  • He has changed school as Gai his caregiver has moved school.
  • During school breaks, Luking assists at Nong Palai, assisting with the gardening and general laboring jobs. He is a hard worker.
  • He enjoys the Saturday morning football.
  • He is always looking to help others with any task they are doing, a very obliging boy.
  • If Luking was unable to attend this school and stay with the family, he would have to go into the care of an orphanage.

  • Her mom earns about 150 Baht per day making flower garlands and sells them to the street sellers.
  • Mom also makes food which she sells in front of the room.
  • Pan step father has health issues so unable to work.

  • Pang lives with her father, mother and younger sister in a small rented room.
  • Pang’s father and mother are both security guards.
  • Pang’s mum has just had knee surgery so is unable to do any strenuous work. She also has diabetes and high blood pressure.
  • Pang loves playing football every Saturday at Hand to Hand.
  • She is a helpful girl and always willing to give a hand to clean up.

  • Pap loves coming to football at Hand to Hand on a Saturday morning and never misses a session.

  • Phoom plays the drums to assist the band at the Saturday afternoon church.

  • She is a helpful, thoughtful girl and takes care of her sister.

Family Situation:

  • Por does not live in Pattaya. He lives in Supanburi which is approximately a 5 hours drive.
  • He lives with his grandmother. She works as a laborer removing grass and weeds from public areas.
  • His mother died when a car hit her.
  • On the weekends and holiday Por also works cutting grass to support the family.
  • The government child protection officers asked Hand to hand to assist with this family.
