Making crafts for sale
Hand to Hand is supporting a number of women in Pattaya who are skilled in bead work and are making beautiful and colourful key chains.
The first lady we are supporting is disabled and used to sell her merchandise on Walking Street. Because of Covid 19, she is unable to do this. We are supporting her by selling her key chains so she can buy food, pay rent, water and electricity. If you purchase a key chain, we will donate them as gifts for Mother’s Day in Thailand in August, to the mothers we know who live in the local communities.

Sharing skills
We are also teaching other women in the local area to make their own key chains, which we hope they will be able to sell on to start their own business. Hand to Hand buys the beading supplies, and each maker receives the profits from their work once we have taken out the cost of supplies. The women enjoy the beading sessions as well which are social and fun, while they learn a new skill.
