Everyday, Hand to Hand makes a difference. One child at a time. Come stand with us and help make that difference today.
Who We Are
Hand to Hand is a Christian organization that is based in Pattaya, who recognise that human rights apply to all age groups. We seek to protect those who are marginalised regardless of their race, age or religion. We achieve this by showing them the love of Jesus Christ through prayer and, on a much more practical level, by providing services such as helping them acquire legal documentation and offering food, clothing and education.
Hand to Hand’s pre-school is open every Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and we currently have 46 children enrolled from the local slums.
On Saturday afternoons from 2:00-5:00 pm approximately 50 children aged 5-15 years old attend the Hand to Hand activities program.
We visit Banglamung and Soi 9 prisons three times per week, giving food and water to all the inmates on each visit. Each month we feed over 1500 inmates. Many of these are illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries.
Every Friday we reach out to the most needy people that live in the slums. We currently visit 32 families who live in a number of different slums. We provide food packages, clothing and medicine when required.
Hand to Hand shares the love of Jesus and the gospel message in two different slum communities on a weekly basis with our Community of Faith Churches.
Every week we visit the hospital to pray for the children and their families and offer emotional and physical support through providing essentials such as diapers, blankets and some fun colouring books, crayons and toys.
We can't do it without the help of others. There are several ways you can contribute to our cause.
Sponsor a child
These are just a few of our pre-school children that don't have a sponsor. Would you like to sponsor a child? With your money we'll be able to get education, medical care, clothing, food and stationary for the child, for one year.
Children are neither the property of their parents nor are they helpless objects of charity. They are human beings and are the subject of their own rights.
Convention on the Rights of the Child
The care and protection of children is the responsibility of the whole community. An investment in a child today builds the leaders of society tomorrow.
